COBCOE's statement on the vote in Scotland

Statement on the vote in Scotland on independence from United Kingdom on 18th September 2014.

COBCOE respects and welcomes the democratic decision of the electorate in Scotland to remain within the United Kingdom. The cost of independence to the British business community both within the U.K. and globally would have been considerable.

COBCOE looks forward to continuing to work, with its member chambers of commerce, for bilateral trade and investment with Scotland in the same way as it is committed to do for the rest of the United Kingdom.
