The International Festival for Business 2016 (IFB2016) has recognised COBCOE as the leading international partner by presenting us with an award for engagement at the closing dinner last night.
Max Steinberg CBE, Chairman, introduced the award by pointing out that more than 20 Fly to Buy grants for delegations from around Europe had come from COBCOE.
Anne-Marie Martin, Chief Executive of COBCOE said: "We are very honoured to receive this award. It is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our members and the people in our pan-European network. We are pleased to have been able to work with Chris Heyes, Head of International, and the IFB2016 team and help make the event such a success."
The award was presented at a glittering gala dinner held in the Exhibition Centre Liverpool at which the total number of IFB2016 visitors - 26,000 - was announced. The event included speeches from Catherine Raines, Chief Executive of UKTI, Ian McCarthy, Director, and Jude Kelly, Artistic Director, as well as video presentations and musical performances.
