The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Emerging Europe are co-hosting the EBRD-Emerging Europe: Outlook on Belarus 2016 event at the EBRD Headquarters in London on Monday 24 October. The event will bring together policymakers, investors and prominent business people to discuss the economic outlook on Belarus and explore investment opportunities in the country. Special guest speakers and panellists include: Francis Delaey, EBRD’s Director of Belarus; Alexander Zaborovsky, First Deputy Economy Minister of Belarus, Natallia Nikandrava, CEO at the National Agency of Investment and Privatisation and Ross Webber, CEO at Bermuda Business Development Agency. The business session will begin punctually at 1530hrs in the Auditorium and finish at 1840hrs, with a coffee break at 1710hrs. After the business session, join us in the Auditorium for a cultural performance by and a Q&A with Šuma (Shuma). Šuma makes a delicate mixture of high-quality electronic music and pagan songs and performs it in a modern and smooth manner. There are hints at cinematic Trentemøller, smooth FKA Twigs, pagan Björk and clubby Moderate. Their album “Zhnivo” was chosen the best album of 2015 in Belarus. The cultural session will begin at 1840hrs. After the session, there will be a networking cocktail reception starting at 1925hrs.
